This policy explains how WABIBABI uses personal data on wabibabi.com, under the GDPR and Hungarian privacy rules.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Benyó Máté Imre e.v., trading as WABIBABI, 1037 Budapest, Sereg utca 9. 1. em. 5., Hungary. Contact: hello@wabibabi.com.
What we collect
- Name, email, phone, billing and shipping address when you order
- Order and payment status (card numbers are handled by Shopify, not by us)
- Account details if you create one
- Technical data such as IP address, browser and approximate location for tax and shipping
- Cart, language and checkout cookies
- Messages you send to customer service
Why we use it
- To take, fulfil and invoice orders (contract / legal duty)
- To calculate tax and shipping and to prevent fraud
- To answer questions, returns and complaints
- To run and secure the Shopify store
- To send marketing emails only if you subscribe (you can unsubscribe any time)
Who we share it with
Only as needed to run the store: Shopify, the payment providers shown at checkout, the carrier that delivers your parcel (for example GLS), and advisers or authorities where the law requires it. Analytics such as Google Analytics may run if enabled in the store.
How long we keep it
We keep data only as long as needed, or longer if the law requires it. Order and invoice data are typically kept for at least 5 years.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or data portability, and you can withdraw consent where we rely on it. Write to hello@wabibabi.com. You can also complain to the Hungarian authority NAIH (naih.hu) or your local EU authority.

We use cookies needed for the cart, checkout, language and security. Analytics or marketing cookies may also be used. You can control cookies in your browser; blocking required cookies can stop checkout from working.
